Is Midlife Slowing You Down?

What feeling is fueling you? πŸ”₯ πŸš€

As we navigate this week’s topic of inner and outer games (listen to this week’s podcast episode here), particularly during midlife, I want to share some positive alternatives to the exhausting outer games we usually play πŸ•ΉοΈ- like the ones of fame, fortune and power which all have one thing in common: they are driven by FEAR.

Through my own journey of midlife reinvention, I’ve discovered the immense value in making time and space for rediscovering and engaging in activities that are driven by PASSION, JOY and LOVE instead of FEAR – like artistic activities πŸ–ŒοΈI’ve been neglecting for decades, exploring new hobbies πŸ„β€β™‚οΈ, rekindling family ties πŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘§, and becoming active in my community 🏘️.

These endeavors not only enrich our lives but also add to our sense of purpose and fulfillment 🌟. They make us feel alive, because we get to enjoy life, be excited about our life, and have meaningful relationships with people we care about and that enrich our lives.

Switching from a mindset driven by fear – from a place of lack – to one motivated by our own passions and interests, joy and love 🌈 isn’t a simple task though.

That’s why I invite you to join me in episode #21 of my podcast 🎧, where we’ll explore practical ways to make this pivotal switch.

Let’s embark on this transformative journey together πŸ’«.
